• When dealing with flu, consume more vitamin C foods such as blueberries, blackberries, cherries, oranges, strawberries, kiwis, grapefruit, tomatoes, etc. to boost the immune system. Drink warm spicy soups, preferably mixed with cayenne pepper, to reduce congestion.
